Jose Ibanez will show an app he worked on that pulls from Instagram’s popular feed and displays it in a collection view. Many tidbits were learned in the process and he’ll share amongst others, a few things about AFNetworking, integrating an NSFetchedResultsController with a UICollectionView, and custom UICollectionViewLayouts.

Kotaro Fujita will be doing a presentation comparing web vs native and then open it up for discussion.

Austin Seraphin will be joining us and has offered to talk a bit about Ruby Motion and iOS Accessibility.

Austin is new to both IndyHall and CocoaHeads. He is a blind developer and I’m sure will have some great insights on making your iOS apps work well for people through Voice Over and the Accessibility APIs.

If anything you should come to shake the hand of a man who has to use a screenreader with Xcode.
